Being Human Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Being Human

Being human

Life is heavenly gift
To know the shift
From richness
To penniless

You may feel worth
And realize the importance of death
How poorly you are clad?
When news come to you of dead?

You are set here
To feel real pinch of salt with fear
Your wound might be aggravated
But you are not helped but hated

God himself underwent such an agony
And chose you to be an emissary
Feel for self and opt for decency
The life is to be called real journey

Dream for heaven
But you shall always be driven
By the dream of belonging to real suffering
That can happen only with human beings
