Belgorod Hit By Own Russian Anti-Aircraft Missiles Poem by Gert Strydom

Belgorod Hit By Own Russian Anti-Aircraft Missiles

In Belgorod three Russian people are dead,
with damage to flats and where people are housed,
claims: Ukrainian Tochka-U missiles did fragments spread,
Russian Pantsir fragments have suspicion roused.

Ukraine do few Tochka-U missiles use,
drones are being mentioned to bomb or spy,
recently Tochka-U for use Russia do choose,
do Pantsir as defence everywhere apply.

At drones heading for Kursk they did shoot
malfunctioning Russian weapons made amuck,
Pantsir missiles made the situation acute,
did haywire houses and apartments struck

and to shift the deadly blame to Ukraine,
they did it with their culpability stain.

[Poet's note: The missile debris from the damaged apartments in Belgorod came from the Russian anti-aircraft Pantsir systems that the Ukraine does not have.]
