I will not believe
Not until equally all are seen
And from no child's eye a tear gleams
No, I will not believe
Nor will I ever believe
At least not until its seen
That the skies are no longer blackened
And the oceans become clean
Not until the military solutes the common man
Who rakes away at the leaves
Or the images of the world
Are as beautiful as once seen
For even great crimes
That carry heartbreak
Are only viewed as hate
When they're truly passion of belief
And this passion will never cease
Thus, the war of this belief will forever continue
As it is to be seen
Since there is no devil without man
I will not believe
No, I will not believe
Well articulated and nicely brought forth with conviction. An insightful creation. Thanks for sharing Owen.
