Belief In God Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Belief In God

Surely, the wicked at heart
Will never outnumber
The pure of heart,
And bring some kind of
Anarchy ~ insurgency...
For this would be a tragedy.

If this ever came to be
I, for one, would wish to be
Across the Bay, over the rainbow
To that fair land faraway.

Belief in God is the one solution,
Meaning of life, lack of confusion,
Anarchy and revolution lead to
Chaos...have no illusion!

Surely, the wicked at heart
Will never outnumber
The pure of heart,
And bring some kind of
Raging sea, for this
Could be our destiny.
