Beliefs To Keep Only To Impress Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Beliefs To Keep Only To Impress

Beliefs to keep only to impress,
With them temporarily addressed to express...
May be the reason why a success,
Prayed and wish to have happen...
Is kept defeated by the lack of effectiveness,
Of faith, patience and the depth of them kept.
To a giving of more time to charade and parade,
Accepted expectations connected to appearances.
Since beliefs kept with faith and unspoken devotion,
Are seldom abandoned...
By those familiar with the benefits received,
When beliefs are felt to keep and less expressed...
Amongst those who value more,
Who does a routine better than the rest to do effectively!

'If it is preached to be believed and received,
By those who witness the effects they are left with...
Less would be the need for preachers,
Doing their best speeches to semonize...
To convince believers what they should feel inside,
Wth a faith kept to realize.'
