Believe Poem by Saucy Elmo

Believe

They make me feel like nothing.
Tore down everything I ever built.
They don't care that I'm hurting.
They're walking on the blood they have spilled.

Another day that goes by,
Where I feel like I won't make it through the night.
They don't care that I'm crying.
They don't understand I wanna be alright.

Sometimes I feel like I'm not worth it.
No matter what, I'll never be perfect.
But they can break me down, I won't frown.
I won't deny, I won't cry.
I won't bother telling them how small I felt.
I'll still never be anything less than myself.

Cause no matter what they say.
I'll still have a smile on my face.
Sometimes I want to run away.
Sometimes I want to leave this place.
But running won't solve a thing.
It won't fix anything.
I can't believe in a dream.
I must live my reality.
