Believe In Me - Poem by Sean Furlong

Won't you be
that special someone
to believe in me?
Loving support
faith in every single dream
hope and rapport
no matter how bleak things seem

Understanding when I'm not
Patient, though I really ought
Insightful in times of calamity
Steadfast when I need you to be

Modest, graceful,
honest and true
these are the things
I'll look for in you
when I become a great person,
all I can ever be,
because you took on the burden
of believing in me.
