Searching for that one moment in time that will bring about a
positive feeling in this world, constantly wondering if each
new discovery coming to light was going to be that time.

Being told silently inside that it was not yet, living in the
extremes of what was not yet known, challenging, dissecting
and cutting it apart.

Hoping to find reasons why nothing was being unfolded or even
opened in this being, not seeing the lies of what was to come,
only believing in that one word forever.

Knowing with an undying certainty that this interior life was
all that this poet will ever have to hold onto in the years
to come.
