Weeping Willow

Below The Light

In darkness
A little below the light
I seem to hide with
no light inside
Fearing all of life

Dark is the sky
Yet billows of his light
seep through to bring
morning light

Inside the darkness that covers
my sky
Dangers are lurking within
my mind
Doubts cast shadows
over me
My mind is captive in
the darkness
In the shadows of fear
Jesus is near inside all my worry
and fears
He goes before
casting a light into the shadows
Leading the way
as he's been there before
A step at a time
He leads me through
all my darkness and fears

A little below the light
Inside the night
Jesus hides within his light
Casting away all my fears as he
is always near

A little below the light
Where his grace shines within
the night
To help us see a brighter life.
