Below Vast Sky Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Below Vast Sky

Rating: 2.7

I loved and considered it as pride
The moment you came near to confide
My heart missed a beat
As you came suddenly to greet

I had ventured in dark
Never got afraid with dog’s bark
I was afraid of your reaction
I was proud of my own action

Darkness grew little longer
You approached and came near
I wondered with eyes wide
For a moment I thought slight

I was unmoved but remained restless
As there was unique shine on your face
You seemed eager to surrender
I had slight hesitation to order

We both were acting demon
Such thing had happened seldom
We were under magic spell
There was different story to tell

We were below large sky
There was no one to ask why
We had slipped under the dark magic
Love might have played same music

There was no way out
There was nothing to talk about
Other than silent action and to sink together
We had dreamland and was nothing to bother

An encounter of the magical kind ending in dreamland... what could be better! Roger Sampson4 hours ago The first verse got me hooked and the last left me smiling... the way it ought to be :)
