Bended Knee - Poem by Kurt Beard

My knees are bent
My hands are folded
My eyes are shut
My heart is hopeful
For thee O Lord
For peace O Lord
For calm O Lord
For hope O Lord
Hear my prayer
Hear my plea
Hear my pain
Hear my hope
You are my God
You are my rock
You are my defender
You are my hope
I have your grace
I have your peace
I have your mercy
I have your hope
