im supposed to come to you
if anyone makes me cry
but what if it was you,
you were the guy

you didnt mean to hurt me
but you did really bad
and i know you still care
but you made me really sad

you are still my best friend
and will always be
but i think we need to talk this over
but its not quite eye to eye that we see

i still love you joe
and always will
maybe we need a break
from all these harsh feelings we feel
