It cuts life a knife
Those dreaded words you don't want to hear
Suddenly become a reality
And then you feel the wetness of a tear

How can the world you believed in
The one so content and snug
Be so brutally ripped apart
By the one you trust and love

So here I sit in despair
The world not making sense
Was there something I could have done?
The pain is killing me it's so immense
