I can definatley relate to this and I love your repeatition of the word 'Betrayal', rendering the poem extremely effective and poigniant. But I have realised that although locking your emotions away may seem easier, confronting them and writing all your hurt down (as you have done) makes you a stronger person! Ramon, the betrayal of lovers and friends are hard to get over. But if you look around there is always a stranger with and out stretch hand of friendship. A stranger who will not betray you in your hour of need. Another great write my friend. Top Marks and thanks for sharing it. David

i have been betrayed all my life, and i choose to lock my emotions within me. for i live my life alone and yet surrounded by people. it is no way to live. once you sink into this life style it is so hard to get out. when you lock your emotions within you lose yourself within your mind.

DO what gives you most joy, maybe write more poems and you'll get over the betrayal! why cry over those who don't care? ! Very heartfelt poem.
