Betty Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Betty

I am my beloveds and my beloved is mine,
For true love works no evil to his or her neighbour.

The lips of my spouse dropp like the honeycomb and,
I have found whom my soul loves on this earth;
For her true love is better than the red wine beside me.

The name of my spouse is Betty and,
Waters cannot quench this love;
But people's jealousy around us is cruel as the grave!
And i do feel like tomorrow whenever i am in her arms;
For she's the pearl of my love ans,
She's very tantalizing and very romantic to touch.
