Between A Rock And A Hard Place Poem by Gabriella Franco

Between A Rock And A Hard Place

Rating: 5.0

I'm here to lend you some education
I am not a type of recreation
I'm makin myself a new, improved creation
I'm tryin to make a correlation
Between your lies and my destination

please stop tellin me all your lies
please don't look me in the eye
You heart can't mean a thing to mine
This aint fair, get outta my life

I want your attention, i want it so badly
But if I get it, it will be deadly
I'll run away with it, be way too happy
But it's okay, 'cause you won't give it to me

Love me, please, oh so slightly
Tell me I'm beautiful, look at my face
I want to help her out, but I love you
Stuck between a rock and a hard place

I should take the knife she placed in my back
And dig my way through the rock
I could get through the hard place
If I used the nails of the cross

Love, Love, or love?
Which one is true?
Which one is of God
And whch on is of you?

Love me please, oh so slightly
Help me to get through this craze
Hold my hand, be my friend
Stuck between a rock and a hard place

Every piece of paper that i wrote your name on
I just tore apart
Theres one place that i wrote your name
thats already tore up, my heart

I sharpied over where i wrote your name
On every solid surface
But your name is still written all over
The rock and the hard place

Love me please, oh so slightly
For just a couple of days
If you did I'm sure I could make it
Through the rock or the hard place
