Between The Sheets With You Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

Between The Sheets With You

The world fades at the edge of this bed,
its noise a distant hum,
its demands left behind like
forgotten clothes.

Your breath mingles with mine,
a rhythm unspoken,
the language of warmth and closeness.

Here, time is soft,
folding into itself,
each second stretched and unraveled
by the weightlessness of being.

Your hand rests against my skin,
not holding, not claiming-
just being.
And that is enough.

Between these sheets,
the universe shrinks
to the space between us,
and nothing beyond this moment matters.
