Between Two Poem by Dylan B

Between Two

She met me that night
Without so much a grumble
From me
Not at all from me

I could see her shoulders crest
And the payout of her back from that
Beautiful sight
In starlit moonlight

And, oh!
That tender scene
Evinces from me
Feelings of moonrise at sea
Right in between ocean horizon
And pristine firmament
…eyes caught…
…and shone back…
…a wondrous, ethereal glint

Thank you Chinedu! It was a dream of perfect bliss, as Thomas Bayly said, too beautiful to last. You remain enriched as well
