Between Two Walls
in this involuntary place
randomly light or dark
shivering like cold
or sweating as warm
this narrow path
like on a tightrope
meaninglessly balancing
between good and bad
love and lust, truth and lie
staying alive, or not
pulling and
pushing and
clawing and
crawling and
crying
there is no way
no way forward
no way back
no other way
only sideways
