Beyond Redemption [love Death] Poem by alan brown

Beyond Redemption [love Death]

She left without remorse
never thinking of the hurt
pain and suffering
caused by her demise.

Hatred followed in quick succession
as my mind bewildered
was led astray.
Never believing the inner thoughts
that tormented me within my heart.

Sadness overcame the hate
selectively destroying my hateful thoughts.
As life suffered my presence
in this ill forgotten gain.

Tears flowed, blinding my every move
as sadness crippled the joys of life.
Taking all but never reducing
my evil thoughts.

Revenge hovered close
although hidden deep within my thought.
As time immortal dwindled
leaving me lost within this point in time.

Sanctuary stretched out a helping hand
as my blindness passed it by.
Hurt was forever in my sole
taking me beyond the redemption
of my bleeding heart.
