Hands across the Sea

It started during war time
when the world had gone quite mad
And everyone was killing
the ones they were told were bad.

But every war has its good side
and everyone its bad.
So lets not blame each other
as that just sounds quite sad.

Instead of fighting each other
join our hands across the sea
and fight to save each other
In perfect harmony.

Lets give food to the hungry
and help to save the poor
And we could live our lives together
of this I am quit sure.

So lets think of the future
and not just of the past
and forgive all the ones we fought with
Then there can be peace in the world at last.
