Beyond the mist of time
Beyond this veil of tears
Beyond earthly things so fine
Beyond these hopes or fears

Something we can't see
Something we can't touch
Something more than we
Something more than lust

We cry, we wonder, we laugh
We live as certain as we die
We were born to walk this path
We struggle with the reasons why

Know that we were meant to be
Know that there is much, much more
Know that you mean love to me
Know my love for you is sure
