Bharat ki vidhva
Jab mai tujhe dekhata hun
Tab mjhe dukh hota hai
Ki tum kitani vivas aur lachaar,
Tumahri aankhon kaa paani,
Bharat ki vidhva
Kitani ashahay aur gamakhinna!

Yaha nahi khao,
Wah nahi pahano,
Esasi baat mat karo,
Usase nahi,
Hanso nahi,
Rowo nahi,
Ek bandhan mei.

When I see you
I feel it sorry to think
How much hapless and helpless are you,
Tears flowing from your eyes,
India's widow,
How helpless and dejected!

This you eat it not,
That wear you it not,
Talk with him not,
Talk with that not,
Laugh you not,
Weep you not,
