Bicycle Poem by Joy Hui Lin

Bicycle

Rating: 4.0

with an elegance,
you, rail thin
smoothly leaning
standing on one pedal

how I admired your
ease with which
you turned tight corners-
almost a childlike adoration

for your handless
graced cycling,
in long ellipses
and your knees...

this is how I love you
effortless, beside me
as I ride beside you
pedalling in small circles.
