Bid Me Bye Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Bid Me Bye

Bid me bye

I shall sleep
But keep
My promises for tomorrow
And definitely allow its fulfillment

But something warns
And turns
Into signal
For departure of individual

I think it is for me
To see
And pack hurriedly
I am available readily

I look at fading night
And feel slight
About setting of glory
And feel sorry

I won't find glorious sun
And life shall run out
All its fuel
And not allow me to dwell

Bid me farewell
And tell
Few words of solace
Wish me if I can come out again with same face

That is lovely Hasmukh, the penultimate verse is especially profound. 😀
