Big Johnny Of Portland Poem by Francis Duggan

Big Johnny Of Portland

As a fashionably dressed fellow not one of the best
Big Johnny of Portland of Victoria's south west
Even in the weekend in the pub casual clothes he does wear
And he never spends money in the hairdresser's styling his scraggly dark hair
Sturdily built in his mid twenties in the prime of his life
He does not have children or a partner or wife
But he does enjoy the not regular sexual fling
With some middle aged unattached women who enjoy sex as a pleasurable
thing
Big Johnny not into car racing sports or football
Such things that many enjoy of no interest to him at all
But on Saturday evening in the pub he enjoys the hour of song
And he happily joins in the sing along
A humorous sort laughter he often provoke
Big Johnny of Portland is a likeable bloke.
