Big Sur Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Big Sur

Big Sur

Didion toured Big Sur
A Boomer and younger
I also have gone there

A flame aimed higher
Churned kettle on fire
And steam in the night
Most of all a host, kind

I stayed, shared giving
Left my heart on leaving
Filled trunk also shared

Life was fun for Hippies…
We loved-cared, families
