Bigelow Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Bigelow

You are witness against yourselves but,
I am under the oak tree watching you;
For my name is Bigelow and,
I came from the city of palms.

Your love is like the gardens by the riverside and,
Your red sea flows continually to touch my heart;
But the people around you do worship 'Sheva' and,
They expected to fo to heaven soon.

How beautiful are your valley of love my sweet one?
For your dwelling place needs my sweet milk;
And i am like the cedar beside the waters of love.

False doctrine,
But who will bring you laughter my love?
Because there is no smile on the faces of the people!
Maybe i can,
But the donkey saw me and turned aside;
And i still want to be your helper on this side.
