Birthday Poem From Dad Poem by Kathleen West

Birthday Poem From Dad

Rating: 2.9

It seems we've had more arguments
than what we've ever had
And when the sparks began to fly
it makes us both feel bad

You are 20 years old today
but 50 years could pass
And you will always be to me
my special irish lass

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
My dad and I both loved poetry. Many times I tucked a poem in a birthday card for him. On my 20th birthday, he tucked this poem in my card. I will always miss him......
