Bitter Wind Poem by Richard D Remler

Bitter Wind

..........

There is a bitter wind that blows
Wherever unforgiveness grows.

Where spite and anger fill the heart,
It tears wherein it dwells apart.

Keep check that ego's port of call.
'tis said pride comes before the fall.

Let not a jealous heart partake,
For it will leave destruction in its wake.

Stress the strong, the true, the fair, the wise.
And keep your eye upon the greater prize.
