Black Howler Monkey - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Black Howler Monkey - Lincoln Park Zoo

A black howler monkey I be.
Only the adult male is black,
Yellowed buff are females like me.
Both sexes have a loud sound track.
I hang out at Lincoln Park Zoo,
Primate House - I am a primate.
Visit and you can hang out too.
And you can help me celebrate
The Year of the Monkey - Chinese.
You're not a monkey - that's okay,
Cuz we do share family trees.
I'll give you a pass - what the hey!

Year of the Monkey - hear me rhyme.
Tiz gonna be a howlin' time.
