Black Out Poem by Oluwafemi Oladunni

Black Out

Rating: 2.5

Watch out for her
As she traverse the land
Panting down in sling
Attracting a cling of people's eye
Mimicking everyone in sight,
Daunting the crowd with her mania.

Delusion and sympathetic, resounding the voice in her head
Her mood swings in a blink
She howls like a chatty parrot, pitiful, they all o'er at her gaze
She walks at a brisk pace as she slightly mutters her words

Her voice suddenly became cold
Aware of her present state
Her tears,a true signs of her contrition,
She eagerly wants to break free from the crowd
Now her feet barely touch the ground as she jostles into the crowd
