Resilience Poem by Oluwafemi Oladunni

Resilience

The sun is set to shine,
The brightness of it is loom
I catch a glimpse of reality

I get knocked down to my kneel,
And life looks pale and drawn,
The future is shrouded with darkness,
Not a glint to hold.

I linger for life even when I am wan,
Keeping my dreams alive at all cost,
Reality of it makes me stand,
I hope in obscurity and still take charge,

I reach out to my goals even if it's rough,
Picking it one at a time and to stay tough,
Trimming off the obscurity at every point,
Smiling to the future that shine so bright,

Now I have learnt to always look,
Far beyond every situation that looks so gloom,
Seizing opportunities in every angle,
Taking risks that looks tangled,
