Black Poetry... Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Black Poetry...

Black poetry
Of the Blacks, by the Blacks, for the Blacks,
Taking to Africa,
The Dark Continent,
Darker myths of people and races ethnic
And primitive,
Of workers and farmlands
Sitting by, passing time,
By the campfire
Passing time in hullabaloo
Leisurely and as pastime
Engaging in folk, country, chapel,
Jazz, blues, rock and pop
Improvising it all
With the beat of music,
Rap,
The rhythm of speech, rhythm of life,
The cackle of music,
The vibes doing the music.
