Blackbird Watch Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

Blackbird Watch

Rating: 3.5

Electric wires
Hanging between poles
One blackbird
Sitting on a wire.

Square sectioned
Granite poles as border
Two blackbirds
Perched on the poles.

A flock of blackbirds
Watching the world
From a thickly grown tree
By the roadside.

White cow grazing
In the green meadow
Blackbird on her back
Keeping good company.

Blackbird at sunset
On water's edge
Catching bugs
Flying in loops.

Hidden in the branches
A blackbird sings
Melodious tunes
Bringing harmony.
