Blame It Poem by Maya Hanson

Blame It

Blame it on the twilight,
blame it on the tears
I wouldn't have come
if your heart had been whole

Blame it on the drumbeats,
on dancing and warm water
Can't decide if I'm delirious
or it's just the spinning stars

Blame it on the night,
blame it on the strangers
This wasn't me yesterday
But after all, maybe
this is who I'm meant to be

Blame it on chemistry,
blame it on yourself
You're just another human and
I can't explain it but
there's no one else who can
make me feel this way.
