Blame not

Blame not the country
but feel pity
on you and people
who have failed to struggle

why is such a scene today?
because you have given the way
allowed them to stay
in power and now you pay

why did you not stand against injustice?
it is surprising how!
you have failed to discharge your duties?
and shirked from the responsibilities

you were only showing self-interest
and not doing the best
for the country and people
and compelled them to struggle

still, not late
get on well
push them to the corner
revolt, if necessary, by non-violent means

if you unite now
no one can stop you
from exercising your option
and that is needed for the nation

the dictators, and perpetrators
they come from you and earn dishonour
because you have given them a berth
and now they're causing you pain and deaths
