Blessed Tearful Morning Shower Poem by Hebert Logerie

My children think
That daddy (me)never cries.
Oh! They're so wrong,
They don't know daddy's secrets.
Daddy weeps every morning
In the shower.
This routine makes daddy strong,
Blessed and lucky, that's indeed
A source of strength and humility.
Daddy does not pray a lot
However, daddy thanks God
For the wisdom and the courage
Bestowed on his being
Every single morning.
Even if the children spy on daddy,
They will never see his daily tears.
