Blind Love Poem by Jessie Lima

Once upon a time,
There was this girl who committed a horrible crime.
She was blind,
And had a boyfriend that was really kind...
He loved her so much
she even loved his touch
He asked her to marry him
His feelings surely came from within
She told him: If only i could see...
We better not, just let me be.
He decided to give her his eyes
He was tired of listening to her cries.
When she could see, he asked again:
Now, will you marry me?
'No'-she said, 'you are blind, let me be! '
It was ok by him to lose his eyes, but her?
He wouldn't dare!
He killed himself...
Their story is lost in some book... somewhere in my bookshelf.
