Andrew Wucherer

Blood - Poem by Andrew Wucherer

They floated together dearly
Inner-twined in such a manner
To know they must spend time wisely
There being no time for chatter
Sharing the same life meanings
Not knowing what to do
Desecrated by external feelings
Their bond nothing can undo
Forsaken as meaningless
Though so remarkably profound
The two of them are of many
Yet another cannot be found
Going through the darkness
Knowing there is no light around the bend
Wishing to understand the purpose
In this cycle that seems to never end
