Blood Everywhere Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Blood Everywhere

Blood everywhere

Who says we talk and profess peace?
Or we want to live with an ease
Nothing of that sort happens
We are simply promised heaven

We pile weapons of mass destruction
Only question is who uses it first after instruction
We have seen fate of two cities
Who shall share liability?

Either Nations are seized with terrorist attacks
Or threatened by super power's threats
They try to increase influence
By adding their military presence

What does this show?
Where do we plan to go?
It is eye wash
And simple show of silent pause

The people are blinded too
They know future is not likely to be smooth
Yet they follow religious doctrine
Support insurgency and follow dictates of religion
