Blowing Kisses Ten Feet Away Poem by Hebert Logerie

Blowing Kisses Ten Feet Away

Under COVID-19, we can only blow kisses ten feet away
Please do not charge me with sexual harassment
This world is crazy, sick and full of disenchantment
The rules are strict and we must act a certain way.

We must not touch each other's face, arms and hands
But we can touch and caress many other visible parts
Yet, we must be mindful that big brothers and friends
Are alert. Please keep all deep emotions in the hearts.

We can blow kisses ten feet away like the soft zephyr
Peppering pink petals everywhere on the green prairie
Albeit this spring is strange, there's no need to wear our fur.

Love is forever different. Space is highly critical for our survival
Our children won't experience yesterday's life style: its beauty
Simplicity and perfume. Nowadays, all things are preternatural.
