Blown Away Poem by Matt Mooney

Blown Away

Blooms of bells, pink Rhododendrons,
Lately ravaged by the rogue winds
Blowing all around vagrantly in May;
A few short weeks was all they lasted,
Chiming out their charms in the sun;
And a photograph I took of loved ones
In front of your smiling face of promise,
Where once they played at home in fun;
Now like the blooms they too are gone
To live their lives where they are landed-
Until you flower for us once more again.
