Boeing And Others - Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Boeing and others

I flew for hours
-carrying passengers
-and cargo, and soldier
- (alive, dead and injured!)

I know of accidents
-crashes, malfunctions.

But news of today
-talks of a passenger
-getting out of plane
-already unconscious
-from depressurisation
-when engine blew up
-making hole in plane…
-at thirty-two thousand!

Deciding for right act
-descending very fast
-landing and not crash
-are worthy, admired…

But what if the plane
-was Chinese or Russian
- (not made in USA,)
-not Boeing of Southwest!

I can sit as stone, quiet
-let my thoughts fly to distances
-and read carved slogans; all against
- "They cannot, are dumb and lower race! "

Yet I do admire the pilot
-keeping calm to land air-plane.

I feel sad for woman
-the one who froze, died
-and all the passengers…

They will always suffer
-Trauma of this pain!
