Bond And Freedom Poem by Khaled Ehtesham

Bond And Freedom

Rating: 5.0

Life has some part
That compels us to take a sip
To whatever malignant
Ha ha, we just want to escape.

Standing there we forget all the prophecy
Forget all true
What a silly tendency
Hoping rescue.

Just once, from your head keep all adversity
Keep all your aspiration in your hand
And discern your identity
Then feel your lost freedom and an eternal bond..

Small moments, apparently small choices may have an impact forever. The bond may seem eternal, but everything is possible.

We are drawn to what is bad for us and we are drawn even though we know it is bad for us. We know we will be forever changed but we tell ourselves one sip won't hurt. But it does. And then we find that we had the freedom to take our freedom and live a slave. You are a poet that likes his readers to ponder and probe and assess. You are good for us.
