Book Or Books Poem by Phil Daniels

Book Or Books

To read a book
Is to be kind
So draw back
The curtains of your mind

Let in the light
And you will see
Stories in a book delight
The world and all are free

With books of fear and pain
Wandering fingers, don't refrain
Wishful hopes of worlds to gain
Wonders of the world to plain

Stories that mesmerize
How did the author devise
Or that humour of the wit
Oh what pleasure as we sit

Now among a Book or books
Please pick me up and
I am the Author of all you see
Come close, learn of Me
