Bodypart Poem by Phil Daniels

Bodypart

Do you stand do you beg
I'm not an arm I'm not a leg
Forced to conform, not a peg

Do you stand do you cry
I'm not an ear I'm not an eye
Forced to conform cannot fly

Do you stand do you despair
I'm not the head I'm not the hair
Forced to conform, not the chair

Do you in Christ know where you stand
Not the body not the hand
Now transformed I understand

Do you know which Body Part
In Christ you have a brand new start
Now God in Spirit His gifts impart
