Born As Human Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Born As Human

I need not be perfect
As I would not want to act
As per his wish
And wait for life to finish

I have born as human
Sometimes to act as inhuman
Cruel, inconsiderate
Acts out of way to state

I want it to be erroneous
To be condemned and thus
Make me hated
When name comes to be stated

God shall not forgive
Me for ill acts to live with
Thus he will be harsh on my being
As burden on earth as poor or king

I look around
And see the beautiful ground
All flowers blossom
On this beautiful land seen seldom

Who shall grant all these?
Without anything or in return of fees
i shall love o born again
Even if life is flooded with pain
