Bow Down Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Bow Down

Keep hope alive
And live
With wait for sunshine
It shall shine

You shall be set free
Sit under huge tree
Look back with no hatred
And lead

Some people keep inhuman views
Practice it as powerful enemies
One day they shall be ravaged
And same way caged

I feel pain
When find them in chain
Work is taken out under the point of gun
Where else they can run (for freedom)

Who can be blamed?
Their own country men who rule and claim
Divine right to rule
And feel successful

One day entire region shall be engulfed
And they shall stand laughed
They shall put heads down and seek an apology
Bow down and seek mercy
