Bower Bird

However well-intentioned you may be
I cannot follow your instruction.
If you are who you say you are,
You'd convince with artistic, bluish construction
Not with warnings of imminent destruction.

I haven't a clue what you can do.
You're the one with the power.

I am a wild raving bird
Built up from things that you stirred
Well enough to know that a threat
Is a cheap and shoddy construction
Not an eminent bower.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Before the bird got into it, I was thinking about those callers who try to convince you they are from Windows.
